The La Sportiva Kubo for women is a versatile climbing shoe that balances comfort and performance, making it a solid choice for climbers who tackle everything from gym sessions to outdoor bouldering. Highlights

• Dual hook-and-loop straps for a secure, adjustable fit
• FriXion Edge sole compound offers excellent grip and durability
• Moderate asymmetry and slight downturn balance precision and comfort
• Unlined front with Pacific lining in the back for breathability and structure
• Integrated tensioned heel enhances hooking performance

In daily use

The Kubo excels on vertical to slightly overhanging terrain. The LaSpoFlex 0.8 mm midsole in the front provides just enough support for edging, while the unlined microfiber front keeps the shoe sensitive for smearing. The suede leather back and Pacific lining add comfort for longer sessions, and the medium-volume fit suits most women's feet. The PD 75 last offers a precise yet forgiving toe box, making it a reliable choice for both training and performance climbing.
