Godox LED36 is a compact on-camera LED video light panel featuring 36 LEDs and adjustable brightness. Designed for close-range and on-camera use, the unit provides a stable continuous light source suitable for video, interviews, vlogging and small product shoots. The lightweight construction and simple manual control make it convenient to mount on a camera or rig and to quickly match ambient light levels for improved image clarity.

Advantages

The Godox LED36 delivers even illumination from a small footprint, combining portability with consistent continuous output. Manual brightness adjustment allows precise control of exposure without menus or electronic modes. Its compact size and low weight reduce load on camera mounts and gimbals, while the 36-LED array provides reliable color and flicker-free performance for standard frame rates. The straightforward design supports quick setup and on-the-go adjustments during shoots.

Suitable for

• On-camera lighting for run-and-gun video and vlogging
• Interview and talking-head setups in controlled or ambient environments
• Close-up product photography and small tabletop shoots
• Fill light for DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and compact rigs

Key specifications

• Light source: 36 LED diodes
• Output control: manual adjustable brightness
• Mounting: camera shoe or compatible cold shoe adapter
• Form factor: compact on-camera panel, lightweight construction
• Power: battery-powered or external power option depending on setup

How to use

Attach the LED36 to the camera's hot shoe or a compatible cold shoe adapter and secure it so the panel points toward the subject. Power the unit using the recommended battery or external power source and switch it on. Adjust brightness manually to achieve the desired exposure and color balance relative to ambient light. For interviews or vlogging, position the panel slightly above or beside the camera to create even facial illumination and reduce harsh shadows. For product close-ups, move the panel closer or farther to control highlight intensity and falloff.

Recommendations

Use a diffuser or bounce surface when softer light is required; check white balance on your camera after setting brightness; carry spare batteries for extended sessions and secure the light firmly on the mount to avoid movement during recording.
