Luchtkoeler Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE WHITE ARGB

The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE WHITE ARGB is a compact air cooler designed for mainstream and compact PC builds. It combines a 120 mm fan, white heatsink finish and addressable RGB lighting to provide targeted CPU cooling with an emphasis on space efficiency. With a maximum airflow of 66.17 cfm and an air pressure of 1.53 mmH2O, the cooler is suitable for typical desktop processors across a wide range of sockets while keeping overall dimensions small: 110 mm width, 125 mm depth and 155 mm height.

Advantages

This air cooler delivers effective heat dissipation in a compact form factor, balancing airflow and static pressure for improved thermal contact with the heatsink. The white finish and ARGB lighting enable visual integration with white or themed builds. Its broad socket compatibility supports both recent and several previous CPU platforms, while the moderate weight contributes to easier installation and reduced stress on the motherboard.

Suitable for

• Compact and mid-tower gaming or productivity PCs where vertical clearance is limited
• Users seeking a white-themed build with ARGB lighting
• Mainstream desktop processors that require reliable air cooling
• System builders prioritizing compatibility across multiple Intel and AMD sockets

How to use

Mount the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE WHITE ARGB to the CPU following the manufacturer’s mounting instructions for the target socket. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the CPU heatspreader before placing the cooler. Secure the cooler bracket and fan according to the included manual, connect the fan power cable to the CPU fan header, and attach the ARGB cable to a compatible header or controller to enable lighting control. After installation, verify in BIOS or monitoring software that fan operation and CPU temperatures are within expected ranges.

Recommendations

For optimal thermal performance, ensure adequate case airflow by using additional intake and exhaust fans. When building in compact cases, confirm the 155 mm cooler height fits the chassis clearance. Use motherboard or case ARGB controllers for synchronized lighting; if a controller is not available, consult the manual for alternative connection options.
