Luchtkoeler Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 12 cm zwart 66,17 cfm

The Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE is a 12 cm air cooler engineered for efficient CPU heat dissipation in compact and mid-tower PC builds. It delivers a maximum airflow of 66.17 cfm and a maximum air pressure of 1.53 mmH2O, providing steady cooling performance for everyday computing, gaming, and workstation tasks. The cooler measures 125 mm in width, 110 mm in depth and 154 mm in height, and its black finish is designed to integrate with modern system aesthetics while occupying a modest amount of space inside the case.

Advantages

The Phantom Spirit 120 SE offers a balance of airflow and static pressure suitable for a variety of CPU cooling scenarios. Its 120 mm fan diameter supports effective air movement across the heatsink fins while keeping noise levels reasonable for its class. The compact footprint and moderate weight make installation simpler in systems with limited clearance and help maintain compatibility with a wide range of motherboards and memory modules. The black colour and neutral design allow the cooler to match most build themes without drawing attention from other components.

Suitable for

• Gaming PCs with mid-tower or compact cases where space is limited
• Home and office desktops requiring reliable, everyday CPU cooling
• Workstations performing sustained loads at moderate clock speeds
• Systems where a discreet black cooler is preferred for aesthetic consistency

How to use

Install the cooler following the motherboard and cooler mounting instructions: power down and unplug the PC, remove the case side panel, and clean the CPU heatspreader surface. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the CPU, align the cooler bracket to the appropriate socket, and secure the unit according to the mounting hardware supplied. Connect the 4-pin fan header to the CPU fan or AIO header on the motherboard to allow PWM speed control. After installation, verify that the fan spins freely and that there is sufficient clearance from memory modules and other components before powering on the system.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, set fan control to a PWM profile in the BIOS or a system utility so fan speed increases under load. Keep case airflow unobstructed by routing cables away from the intake and exhaust paths, and periodically clean dust from the fan and heatsink fins to maintain thermal efficiency over time.
