Malset Ravensburger CreArt – honden en katten (schilderen-op-nummer-set)

Ravensburger 23855 is a children’s casting and painting kit designed for ages 11 and up, supplied as a boxed set that combines moulding and decorative finishing. The kit provides materials to cast simple shapes and decorate them with paint, supporting step-by-step creative activity and development of fine motor skills. It is intended for hobby crafting, school projects, and supervised home sessions where users can practise shaping, painting and finishing small three-dimensional pieces.

Advantages

The boxed set contains casting material and paints selected to work together, allowing beginners to produce solid, paintable pieces with predictable results. Included paint pots and brushes are sized for decorating both larger surfaces and finer details. The guided format reduces uncertainty about sequence and technique while leaving room for individual colour choices and finishing styles. Materials are packaged for straightforward storage and repeated use during multiple sessions.

• Supervised crafting activities for children aged 11 and older

Key specifications

• Contents: casting compound, moulds for shapes, set of paints and brushes, boxed packaging
• Recommended age: 11 years and older
• Finished pieces: small three-dimensional shapes suitable for painting and display
• Paint type: ready-to-use hobby paints formulated for painted finish on cast material

How to use

Prepare a clean, protected work surface and follow the included instructions to mix and pour the casting compound into the moulds. Allow the material to set fully according to drying times stated in the kit before demoulding. Once the cast pieces are dry and cured, arrange paints and brushes and apply colour starting with base coats and moving to smaller details. Allow paint layers to dry between applications and clean brushes with water or according to the paint manufacturer’s guidance. After paint is fully dry, finished pieces can be sealed or displayed as desired.

Recommendations

Work in a well-ventilated area and protect surfaces with paper or a disposable cover. Follow safety instructions for mixing and curing the casting compound, and supervise younger users. Keep paint pots closed when not in use to prevent drying and test paint on a spare cast to check coverage. Allow full curing time before handling or applying sealant.
