Advantages

The Tombow ABT-108C set combines a precise 0.8 mm fine tip and a flexible brush tip (approx. 0.8–3.3 mm) in each pen, enabling both detailed lines and brush-like strokes. Water-based ink allows smooth blending and watercolor effects. Colours are acid-free, non-toxic and odourless. The sturdy case keeps pens organised and portable.

How to use

Select the fine tip for precise outlines and lettering; use the brush tip for broader strokes, shading and blending. Combine colours directly on paper or blend on a palette and apply with the brush tip to create gradients and watercolor-like washes. Use the blender pen to soften edges or mix adjacent colours. After use, replace caps to prevent drying and store the pens horizontally or in the supplied case.

Recommendations

For best blending and watercolor effects, work on watercolor or mixed-media paper; test colour combinations on a scrap before applying to a final piece. Keep caps closed when not in use and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as lightfastness is not guaranteed.
