Mechanische toetsenbordschakelaars Aptel Glorious Fox Forge (voorgesmeerd), 36-pack

Aptel Glorious Fox Forge mechanical keyboard switches, supplied in a pack of 36 and delivered pre-lubricated, are designed for mechanical keyboards that accept standard MX-style switch sockets. The Forge variant combines a defined actuation profile with a stable stem and housing fit, aimed at delivering consistent keystrokes, reduced friction and a refined typing sound. The set of 36 switches is suitable for partial keyset replacements or small custom builds where improved feel and smoother travel are desired.

Advantages

Pre-lubrication reduces scratchiness and lowers friction between moving parts, producing a smoother keystroke and more uniform sound across the switch set. The Forge variant offers a reliable tactile response with controlled travel, and the construction is compatible with most MX-style keycaps and keyboard PCBs. These switches are assembled to provide consistent actuation and reduced ping, making them suitable for users seeking improved typing feel without additional modification.

Suitable for

• Custom mechanical keyboard builds using MX-style sockets
• Partial keyset repairs or replacements (up to 36 switches)
• Enthusiasts seeking pre-lubricated switches for reduced setup time
• Users aiming to improve typing smoothness and acoustic profile

Key specifications

• Switch type: mechanical MX-style compatible
• Quantity: 36 switches per pack
• Pre-lubricated: yes, factory-lubed for smoother operation
• Actuation profile: Forge variant with defined tactile characteristics
• Compatibility: standard MX-style keycaps and PCBs

How to use

Install the switches into a compatible keyboard plate or PCB designed for MX-style switches by aligning the switch pins with the PCB holes and pressing the switch into the socket until it seats firmly. If replacing existing switches, remove keycaps and desolder or use a hot-swap socket as appropriate. After installation, fit MX-style keycaps and verify each switch registers correctly. No additional lubrication is required due to the pre-lubricated finish, although users may choose to perform further modifications at their discretion.

Recommendations

Handle the switches with care to avoid bending pins during installation. For keyboards with hot-swap sockets, confirm pin alignment before pressing in. If desoldering is necessary, follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate tools. To maintain consistent acoustics and feel, install switches in matched groups rather than mixing with unlubricated variants.
