4M Creative set Gypsum castings 4M 3512 Garden is a hands-on plaster casting kit designed for making garden-themed figures. The set supplies moulds, casting plaster powder and basic tools to create multiple durable decorative pieces. It is intended for educational use, craft activities and hobby projects, teaching simple casting techniques, mixing and finishing while producing items suitable for display or gifting.

Advantages

The kit provides an all-in-one solution with pre-shaped moulds and measured plaster mix that simplifies the casting process for beginners. Components are selected to produce stable, detailed castings that hold paint and finishes well. The materials encourage practical learning of measurement, mixing ratios and timing, and the finished figures are robust enough for handling and decorating.

Suitable for

• School craft lessons and STEM activities
• Home art and hobby projects
• After-school clubs and group workshops
• Gift making and seasonal decorations

Key specifications

• Contents: moulds, plaster powder, mixing tools and instructions
• Material: gypsum-based casting plaster
• Output: multiple garden-themed figures (flowers, small ornaments)
• Recommended age: suitable for supervised use by children (check packaging for exact age guidance)
• Finish: paintable surface after drying

How to use

Mix the plaster powder with water according to the supplied instructions to achieve a smooth, pourable consistency. Pour the mixture into the moulds, tapping gently to remove air bubbles, then allow the plaster to set undisturbed for the recommended time. After initial setting, carefully demould the figures and let them dry completely before sanding or painting. Clean tools immediately after use while plaster is still wet.

Recommendations

Work on a protected surface and use a measuring cup for accurate water-to-plaster ratio. Supervise children during mixing and mould removal. Allow full drying time before decorating; apply acrylic paints or sealants suitable for gypsum to protect finished figures.
