Netwerk-display-luidspreker AXIS C1710 (02959-001) PoE-ondersteuning IP-audioluidspreker

AXIS C1710 network display speaker is an IP audio device with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, designed for networked public address and information playback. The unit combines a loudspeaker with a visual display to deliver voice paging, background music and scheduled announcements from a central server or networked management system. Built for commercial environments, the speaker supports multicast and unicast audio streaming and integrates with IP-based security and communication infrastructures.

Advantages

The speaker offers simplified installation through PoE, reducing cabling needs by carrying both power and data over a single Ethernet connection. Its integrated display provides synchronized visual messages alongside audio playback, improving clarity for announcements in noisy environments. Centralised management and support for standard network audio protocols enable scalable deployment across retail, transport and corporate sites while maintaining consistent audio quality and control.

How to use

Connect the AXIS C1710 to the network using a PoE-enabled switch or injector to provide both data and power. Configure the device through the manufacturer’s network management interface or compatible IP audio control software, assign multicast or unicast streams, and schedule announcements or playlists as required. Place the speaker in a location where the integrated display and audio coverage match the intended audience, and adjust volume and message timing through the management console.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a PoE switch that meets the required power class and ensure the network provides sufficient bandwidth for simultaneous audio streams. Position the speaker to avoid direct exposure to weather and extreme temperatures, and integrate it with your central audio management system to maintain consistent announcement schedules and message formatting across multiple units.
