Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K8708OR.3 RJ-45 Cat6a 3m oranje

The EFB Elektronik K8708OR.3 RJ-45 Cat6a 3m Orange network cable is a shielded S/FTP Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. With a 3 meter length and Cat6a specification, it supports increased bandwidth and improved crosstalk protection compared to lower category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance, while the orange jacket makes the cable easy to identify within patch panels or cable bundles.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction reduces electromagnetic interference and preserves signal integrity in environments with multiple active cables or electronic equipment. Cat6a performance enables stable transmission for Gigabit and multi-Gigabit applications over the 3 m span. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs offer consistent connectivity and longer contact life. The brightly colored jacket improves visual management and simplifies installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Home and small office wired Ethernet connections
• Patch panels and switch-to-workstation links
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, video conferencing and large file transfers
• Environments with multiple cables where shielding reduces interference

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-screened pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network switch, router or modem and the other plug to the target device such as a PC, NAS or access point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to guarantee a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radius and protect the jacket from sharp edges. For rack or patch panel installations, label both ends if required for easier identification.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for links up to 3 m within LANs requiring Gigabit or higher speeds. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference, avoid kinking, and secure with cable management accessories to extend connector and jacket life.
