Cat.6A U/FTP network cable with support for bandwidth up to 500MHz and features a snagless design with gold plated contacts for ethernet standards up to 10GBase-T. Cat 6A cable, shielded with foil shielded with single pair shielding (U/FTP). These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification.

Each cable consists of 4 pairs individually wrapped in a covering of high quality, strong, aluminium/polyester foil tape providing an individual screen for each pair. These are twisted together to form 4 pairs with varying lay lengths. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal.

The halogen-free sheath material of the LSZH cable makes the product suitable for use in public spaces with its low smoke emission and elimination of toxic halogen emissions.

How to use

Run the cable along cable trays, conduits or trunking, avoiding sharp bends and tight radii. Terminate both ends into RJ-45 ports or patch panels compatible with Cat6A solid core cabling. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages; the snagless design protects the latch during routing and removal. For permanent links, dress and secure the cable to prevent movement and strain on terminations.

For optimal performance, keep separation from power cables and large sources of electromagnetic interference, maintain bend radius recommendations from the manufacturer, and use appropriate patch panels and jacks rated for Cat6A to preserve the cable's shielding and bandwidth.
