Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-39485 RJ-45 Cat7 30m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-39485 RJ-45 Cat7 30m Black is a 30-metre network cable built to Cat7 standard with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors. It is designed to provide reliable, high-frequency signal transmission for wired Ethernet connections and to reduce crosstalk and external interference in structured cabling environments. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for both professional and home installations.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidths and improved noise immunity compared with earlier categories, while S/FTP shielding (foil overall with individually shielded pairs) helps protect against electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and resistance to corrosion. The 30 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across larger rooms or between equipment racks without additional couplers.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections
• Home and office network installations
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS devices, and workstations
• Cabling runs that require reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 30 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully to avoid kinks or tight bends that could affect performance. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (switch, router, computer, or NAS) and the other connector into the corresponding network port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locked by the clip. For permanent installations, route the cable following standard practices: avoid running parallel to power cables for long distances and maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within standard Ethernet installation practices: avoid sharp bends, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources, and use direct connections or managed patch panels rather than multiple couplers. Cat7 S/FTP is suitable for high-performance wired networks and can be paired with compatible network equipment to achieve stable high-speed links.
