Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41060 grijs 7,5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41060 Grey 7.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable provides a high-bandwidth connection for modern wired networks. Compliant with Cat8.1 specifications, this 7.5 metre cable supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is designed to handle demanding applications requiring low latency and high throughput. The cable is finished in a neutral grey jacket and terminates in gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for consistent contact and reduced corrosion over time.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. The Cat8.1 specification ensures suitability for high-speed LAN backbones and short-range data center links, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable mating and longer contact life. The 7.5 metre length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within rack setups without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area networks and backbone connections
• Short-range data center interconnects and server-to-switch links
• Workstation and home office setups requiring low-latency wired connections
• Environments with high electromagnetic interference where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance level
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable colour: grey

How to use

Route the cable between networking devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks to preserve performance. Plug the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks into place; ensure connectors are fully seated at both ends. For installations near large electrical equipment, orient the cable to maximise separation from noise sources where possible. If routing through cable management or conduits, confirm that the internal bend radius and fill capacity meet the conduit manufacturer’s recommendations to avoid mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium point-to-point links and backbone segments where high bandwidth and shielding are required. Avoid excessive pulling force during installation, maintain the recommended bend radius, and ensure connectors are clean and undamaged before mating.
