Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75120-S 10m Cat5e F/UTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS75120-S 10m Cat5e F/UTP networking cable is designed for stable wired connections in home and small office environments. This 10-metre black cable meets the Cat5e standard and uses F/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, while RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide straightforward connectivity. It supports data transfer speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s and is suited for typical Ethernet applications where a reliable, shielded connection is required.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding helps protect signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. The Cat5e specification ensures compatibility with Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet networks. At 10 metres length the cable offers flexibility for positioning devices without excessive slack. Robust RJ-45 connectors provide a secure mechanical and electrical connection with standard network ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network switches
• Wired connections for home routers and modems
• Small office networks and point-to-point links
• Streaming, file transfers and online gaming with reduced interference

Key specifications

• Length: 10 metres
• Standard: Category 5e (Cat5e)
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil shielded overall, unshielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Color: black

How to use

Insert an RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other end into the corresponding port on your router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. For best performance avoid sharp bends and kinks and keep the cable routed away from high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic noise. If connecting through patch panels or keystone jacks, verify that termination and panel wiring follow T568A or T568B standards consistently.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e F/UTP cable for shielded wired connections where EMI may be present. For permanent in-wall installations consult local cabling standards and consider cables rated for in-wall use. For higher bandwidth needs or longer runs, consider Cat6 or fiber optic alternatives.
