Objectiefadapter Novoflex Olympus naar Micro Four Thirds

The Lens Adapter Novoflex Olympus to Micro Four Thirds enables the use of Olympus OM-mount lenses on Micro Four Thirds camera bodies. Constructed with a robust black finish, the adapter provides secure mechanical coupling and precise flange distance control to preserve focus accuracy and image plane alignment. It is designed to maintain optical performance of legacy and modern Olympus lenses when adapted to MFT mirrorless systems.

Advantages

The adapter offers solid metal construction for durability and reliable mounting. It ensures correct lens-to-sensor distance for accurate focusing and supports manual aperture control and mechanical linkage where applicable. The simple, tool-free mounting system provides fast lens changes while minimizing play and light leaks. Its compact profile keeps adapted setups balanced and suitable for handheld or tripod work.

Suitable for

• Photographers wanting to use Olympus OM lenses on Micro Four Thirds bodies
• Users adapting vintage or third-party Olympus glass for mirrorless systems
• Videographers who need manual-aperture control and stable lens mounting
• Macro and portrait shooters experimenting with unique lens characteristics

Key specifications

• Mount conversion: Olympus OM lens to Micro Four Thirds camera
• Material: metal construction with protective black finish
• Function: mechanical adapter preserving flange focal distance for accurate focus
• Compatibility: supports manual focus and aperture control of adapted lenses
• Weight and size: compact, lightweight profile to reduce front-heavy balance (varies by model)

How to use

Attach the adapter to your Micro Four Thirds camera by aligning the mount index marks and rotating until it clicks into place, then mount the Olympus lens onto the adapter using the lens' mounting index. Confirm secure engagement before use. Because the adapter is mechanical, set focus and aperture on the lens manually; use camera focus aids such as magnification or focus peaking for precise results. When removing, reverse the process: detach the lens from the adapter, then unlock and remove the adapter from the camera body.

Recommendations

To achieve best image quality, clean lens and mount contacts and avoid excessive force when mounting. Use manual exposure modes or camera settings that support adapted lenses. For critical focus work, use a tripod and live-view magnification. Store the adapter in a protective case when not in use to prevent dust and scratches.
