Objectiefdop Olympus LC-40.5 zwart

The Olympus LC-40.5 Black lens cap fits lenses with a 40.5mm filter thread and protects the front element from dust, scratches and minor impacts. Designed for Micro Four Thirds interchangeable-lens cameras and other lenses with the same thread diameter, the cap secures to the lens to keep the optical surface clean when the lens is not in use.

Advantages

This lens cap provides a secure snap-fit to prevent accidental detachment and helps extend the life of the lens by protecting the front glass from contaminants and physical damage. Its lightweight construction and standard 40.5mm size make it compatible with a range of lenses and easy to carry or store when not mounted.

Suitable for

• Lenses with a 40.5mm filter/thread diameter
• Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lenses and other mirrorless or compact lenses using the same thread size
• Protecting lenses during transport and storage

Key specifications

• Mount type: snap-on front lens cap
• Compatible thread diameter: 40.5 mm
• Color: black
• Material: durable plastic

How to use

Align the cap with the front of the lens, press gently until you hear or feel the snap of the retaining clips engaging, and release. To remove, pinch the center tabs (if present) or grip the cap edges and pull straight off. Ensure the lens and cap are clean before attaching to avoid trapping dust or debris against the glass.

Recommendations

Store the lens cap on the lens whenever the lens is not in use. Keep spare caps in your camera bag for lenses with the same 40.5mm thread and periodically inspect the cap for wear to maintain secure retention.
