Optische audiokabel ShiverPeaks 69012-0.5 Toslink-stekker naar 3,5-mm-adapterkabel 0,5 m, 2,2 mm

The ShiverPeaks optical audio cable 69012-0.5 is a 0.5 m Toslink-to-3.5 mm adapter cable with a 2.2 mm jacket diameter designed for transmitting digital optical (Toslink) audio signals between devices. The cable uses an optical fiber core to provide electrically isolated signal transfer, reducing interference and ground loop noise in AV setups. This compact adapter cable is suitable for connecting TVs, soundbars, DACs and portable audio equipment that accept a 3.5 mm optical input or require a Toslink connection via an adapter.

Advantages

The cable offers low-interference digital audio transmission thanks to its optical design and 2.2 mm jacket, ensuring stable signal integrity over the short 0.5 m length. Its Toslink plug to 3.5 mm optical adapter format provides compatibility with a range of consumer audio devices while maintaining electrical isolation between source and sink. The compact length and flexible jacket make it convenient for tidy connections behind entertainment units and for portable setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV optical output to a soundbar or AV receiver with a 3.5 mm optical input (via compatible adapter)
• Linking portable audio devices and DACs that accept a 3.5 mm optical connector
• Short-run optical connections in home theatre or desktop audio setups
• Situations where electrical isolation is needed to avoid ground loop hum

Key specifications

• Cable type: Optical (Toslink) to 3.5 mm optical adapter cable
• Length: 0.5 m
• Jacket diameter: 2.2 mm
• Connector A: Toslink plug
• Connector B: 3.5 mm optical plug (optical/mini-Toslink form factor)
• Signal: Digital optical audio

How to use

Insert the Toslink plug into the digital optical output of the source device and plug the 3.5 mm optical connector into the input of the receiving device or adapter. Ensure connectors are correctly aligned and avoid forcing the plug into the socket. Keep the cable free of sharp bends or kinks to maintain optical performance. For best results, verify the source and sink devices are configured to use the optical audio output and that any required input selection is set on the receiving device.

Recommendations

Use this short optical adapter cable for tidy, low-latency connections in close-proximity installations. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical lines and prevent extreme bending to preserve the optical fiber. Check device compatibility for 3.5 mm optical inputs before connecting.
