ORICO MiniTower 4-bay SATA HDD/SSD dockingstation tot 56TB, USB 3.0, zilver

The ORICO MiniTower stands apart from typical external drive enclosures by merging a four-bay SATA docking station with a vertical tower design that saves desk space while keeping all drives accessible. Unlike single-bay docks or bulky NAS boxes, it offers tool-free hot-swap for up to four 3.5-inch SATA drives, making it ideal for rapid backups, media libraries, or expanding storage without opening a PC case.

Highlights

• Four independent SATA 3.0 bays for 3.5-inch HDD/SSD, each supporting up to 16TB (total 64TB raw capacity)
• USB 3.0 Type-B host interface with UASP for transfer speeds up to 5Gbps
• Tool-free installation and hot-swap support – insert or remove drives without rebooting
• Aluminum alloy and ABS housing with built-in 80mm silent fan for continuous cooling
• Individual bay locks and automatic smart sleep mode for security and energy efficiency

In daily use

Place the MiniTower on your desk, connect the included USB 3.0 cable and external 12V/6.5A power adapter, and slide in your drives. The front LED indicators show power and per-drive activity, while the rear fan quietly dissipates heat even under sustained read/write loads. UASP support reduces CPU overhead and improves performance compared to standard BOT mode, making large file transfers noticeably faster. The tool-free trays and individual locks mean you can swap drives in seconds and prevent accidental removal in shared environments.
