Installation does not require special tools and the tray is constructed to withstand regular handling during paper replenishment.

• Home office users who print regular documents and want fewer interruptions
• Small offices with moderate daily print volumes
• Situations requiring a secondary tray for different paper types or sizes
• Environments where quicker paper reloading improves productivity

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for use with Brother HLL3230 and HLL3270 series printers
• Function: spare paper cassette / secondary paper feed
• Material: durable plastic construction suitable for repeated handling
• Capacity: adds an additional paper input to reduce refill frequency (capacity depends on paper weight and size)
• Fit: designed to align with the printer’s paper guides for reliable feeding

How to use

Slide the replacement paper tray into the printer’s lower input slot until it clicks into place, making sure the tray is seated evenly. Adjust the tray’s paper guides to match the size of the paper you load, then insert a stack of plain paper without exceeding the recommended height for the tray. Confirm the printer recognizes the additional tray via its control panel or driver settings if required. When refilling, remove the stack, realign the guides, and reinsert the paper to maintain consistent feeding.

Recommendations

Use standard office paper within the recommended weight range for your Brother HLL3230/HLL3270 printer to ensure reliable feeding. Avoid overfilling the tray and keep paper edges aligned to prevent jams. If you switch paper types (for example, from plain to recycled or heavier stock), adjust the paper guides and verify print settings in the device driver.
