PEAK PERFORMANCE W Trail Polartec Power Grid Zip Hood dames fleecejas - rood L

Cold-weather trail runs and hikes often force a choice between warmth and breathability, leaving you chilled on descents or clammy on climbs. The PEAK PERFORMANCE W Trail Polartec Power Grid Zip Hood solves that dilemma with a mid-layer that actively regulates temperature while moving with you. Its Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric traps warm air in a lightweight grid, yet releases excess heat and moisture the moment you push harder. A full-length zip lets you dump heat instantly, while the snug hood and thumbholes seal out drafts. Built from 93% recycled polyester, it’s a responsible choice for high-output days in the mountains.

Who is it for

This women’s fleece hoodie is made for trail runners, hikers, and fastpackers who need adaptable warmth without bulk. It works as a standalone layer in mild conditions or as a mid-layer under a shell when the weather turns. The regular fit accommodates a base layer without restricting movement, and the four-way stretch follows every stride, scramble, or pole plant.

Main features

• Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric: lightweight grid construction maximizes warmth-to-weight and breathability.
• Full front zip with chin guard: quick ventilation and easy on/off; protects against zipper rub.
• Snug-fitting hood: stays put under a helmet or over a beanie, adding wind protection.
• Zippered chest pocket: secure storage for a phone, keys, or energy gel; won’t bounce while running.
• Thumbholes at cuffs: keep sleeves in place and add extra hand warmth when layered.
• Flatlock seams: reduce chafing when wearing a pack or moving repetitively.
• Moisture-wicking and quick-drying: pulls sweat away from skin and dries fast during stops.
• Recycled content: 93% recycled polyester reduces environmental impact.

Tips

For maximum versatility, wear this hoodie over a lightweight merino base layer in temperatures from 5°C to 15°C. When the wind picks up, pair it with a windproof shell—the grid fleece will still breathe and prevent overheating. Wash with a technical detergent and avoid fabric softeners to maintain the wicking performance of the Polartec fabric.
