Petzl Pantin linker voet stijgijzer - zwart

Rope access technicians and arborists working on vertical lines often need a reliable way to ascend efficiently while keeping their body upright. The Petzl Pantin Left is a foot ascender that attaches to the left foot, allowing you to push upward with your leg while the toothed cam grips the rope. This simple motion reduces arm fatigue and helps you maintain a vertical position, making long ascents less tiring and more controlled.

Why choose it

The Pantin Left is built for efficiency and durability. Its toothed stainless steel cam bites securely into the rope, while the self-cleaning slot prevents debris buildup in muddy or dusty environments. The elastic Dyneema strap keeps the ascender in place on your boot, and the quick-adjust system lets you fine-tune the fit without tools. Because the cam is corrosion-resistant, this ascender performs reliably in wet or harsh conditions, from tree canopies to cave systems.

Ideal use cases

• Rope access work on towers, bridges, and industrial structures
• Tree care and arborist climbing
• Caving and technical rescue
• As a complement to a hand ascender for efficient rope ascent

Good to know

The Pantin Left is designed for use on a single rope and is not intended for double-rope techniques. It pairs well with a right-foot ascender or a hand ascender for a balanced climbing system. Always verify that your rope diameter falls within the 8–13 mm range and that the rope is in good condition before use. The ascender meets CE EN 567 and UIAA standards, ensuring it has been tested for strength and reliability in professional settings.
