Platte RJ45-patchkabel Cat.7 1 m geel ShiverPeaks

Flat RJ45 Patch Cable Cat.7 1 m Yellow ShiverPeaks is a slim, flexible network patch cable designed for Cat.7 performance in a compact flat profile. At 1 metre length and bright yellow colour, this cable provides a discreet routing option for high‑speed Ethernet connections where space is limited, such as under carpets, along skirting boards or behind furniture. The cable is terminated with standard RJ45 plugs for immediate plug‑and‑play compatibility with routers, switches, PCs and other network devices.

Advantages

The flat design minimises bulk and permits routing in narrow gaps, beneath flooring and against walls while remaining easy to bend and position. Cat.7 performance supports high data rates and enhanced shielding characteristics compared with lower categories, helping to reduce crosstalk and external interference in typical home and office environments. The 1 m length is convenient for short runs between devices and avoids excess cable slack. Bright yellow insulation improves visibility for identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked computers over short distances
• Routing under carpets, through cable channels or along skirting boards
• Temporary or permanent patch connections in home and small office networks
• Environments requiring easy cable identification by colour

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7 performance suitable for high‑speed Ethernet
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Profile: flat, low‑profile construction for tight spaces
• Colour: yellow for easy identification
• Flexibility: designed for bending and routing in constrained layouts

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding LAN port on your router, switch or device until it clicks to secure the connection. Use the 1 m length for short connections where devices are close together; route the flat cable along skirting boards, through cable channels or under carpets as required. Avoid stretching the cable or pulling on the connector when disconnecting to preserve the plug and cable integrity. For best performance, ensure connectors are fully seated and both device ports are configured for the expected network speed.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid sharp folds at the connector ends and do not place heavy objects on the cable. When installing under a carpet or in a channel, allow a small loop near each end to reduce strain on the RJ45 plugs. Use the cable’s colour to separate network segments or mark connection points during multi‑device setups.
