Potlood Staedtler Mars Lumograph 100 multi

Staedtler Mars Lumograph 100 Multi is a metal tin set of six professional graphite pencils in a blue hexagonal design. Made in Germany, the set includes a range of soft to medium hardness grades (8B, 7B, 6B, 4B, 2B, HB) for flexible use in sketching, shading and precise drawing. The high-quality graphite core delivers smooth, consistent lines suitable for detailed artistic work and technical sketches.

Advantages

The hexagonal blue pencils provide a comfortable grip and reduced rolling on the work surface. German manufacturing and Staedtler quality ensure consistent graphite density and break-resistant cores. The included variety of grades covers very soft to medium hardness, allowing for deep darks and fine light lines within one compact metal tin.

How to use

Choose a pencil grade according to the required tone: use 8B–6B for deep darks and broad shading, 4B–2B for mid-tones, and HB for fine lines and technical details. Sharpen with a quality sharpener to maintain a robust point. Apply varying pressure and strokes for different textures; combine grades to achieve smooth gradations and detailed contrasts.

Recommendations

Store pencils in the metal tin to protect points and maintain consistent quality; avoid extreme humidity to preserve the graphite core. For archival work, fix finished graphite with an appropriate fixative spray if permanence is required.
