Privacyfilter Kensington EQ240A169E voor 24'' monitors 16:9

The Kensington EQ240A169E Privacy Screen Filter is designed for 24" monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio and provides a sustainable privacy solution made with up to 54% post‑consumer recycled (PCR) content. The filter narrows the viewing angle to ±30° to reduce the chance of visual data breaches in open offices and public spaces, while also reducing blue light exposure and glare. Its reversible matte/glossy design and scratch‑resistant surface offer flexible viewing options and long‑term protection. The filter is touchscreen compatible, meets military‑grade wipe down testing standards, and includes a 2‑year limited warranty.

Advantages

Constructed partly from PCR plastic and shipped in FSC® certified packaging, the Kensington EQ Privacy Screen Filter combines sustainability with practical protection. The limited viewing angle provides focused screen privacy, and blue light reduction helps ease eye strain. An anti‑reflective coating reduces glare; the reversible matte or glossy finish allows user preference for appearance and touch response. Multiple installation options — frameless tab holders for removable use or double‑sided tape for a cleaner permanent fit — increase versatility. The scratch‑resistant surface and military‑grade wipe down compliance improve durability and maintenance.

How to use

Choose the preferred installation method: use the included frameless tab holders for easy removal and repositioning, or apply the double‑sided tape for a cleaner, more permanent installation. Align the filter with the monitor edges, secure the tabs or tape according to the included instructions, and verify the filter sits flush without air gaps. For touchscreen use, select the glossy side if greater touch responsiveness is needed or the matte side to reduce reflections. Clean the filter with a soft, lint‑free cloth and a manufacturer‑recommended cleaning solution; do not use abrasive cleaners.

Recommendations

To maintain privacy performance and longevity, avoid folding or creasing the filter, remove dust before applying using a soft cloth, and follow the supplied installation guide. For frequent touch input, use the glossy side and follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions to preserve the anti‑reflective coating and scratch resistance.
