Prullenbak Hailo ÖKO DUO PLUS L — rechthoekig RVS, 26 L, zwart/zilver

Hailo ÖKO DUO PLUS L is a rectangular 26 L pedal bin with a stainless steel body in black and silver. It is designed for kitchen or office waste separation, featuring two internal compartments of different sizes that allow sorting of general household or small commercial waste in a compact, durable container.

Advantages

The pedal-operated lid provides hands-free opening for hygienic use, while the stainless steel construction ensures durability and easy cleaning. Two inner bins of different volumes make it simple to separate recyclables from residual waste, and the rectangular shape helps save space against walls or under counters.

Suitable for

• Kitchen waste separation in homes
• Small office waste sorting
• Compact spaces such as under counters or beside worktops
• Areas requiring a durable metal bin with pedal operation

When it may not be suitable

This bin may not be suitable for very large households or high-traffic commercial environments where daily waste volume significantly exceeds 26 litres. It is also less appropriate if you require more than two separated streams or specialised compartments for organic composting.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 26 L total (two inner compartments of different sizes)
• Shape: Rectangular
• Material: Stainless steel housing with plastic inner bins and pedal mechanism
• Operation: Foot pedal for hands-free lid opening
• Finish: Black and silver (matte/light grey option available)

How to use

Place the bin on a flat, stable surface. Use the foot pedal to open the lid and deposit waste into the appropriate inner compartment. Remove the inner bins individually to empty and clean them; wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Replace liners if used and reinsert the inner bins before closing the lid.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that a 26 L capacity suits your household or office waste volume
• Check available space to accommodate a rectangular bin and allow pedal operation
• Decide whether two compartments are sufficient for your recycling needs
• Consider the preference for a metal exterior for durability and appearance

Recommendations

For best results, use separate liners for each inner bin and empty regularly to prevent odours. Wipe the stainless steel surface with a non-abrasive cloth and avoid harsh chemicals to maintain the finish.
