Reflectiescherm Godox UB-002 zwart zilver diameter 101 cm

The Godox UB-002 is a 101 cm reflector umbrella with a silver interior and black exterior. The silver surface increases light reflection and contrast on the illuminated subject, while the black outer cover reduces unwanted light spill and absorption from surrounding surfaces. The umbrella is lightweight and intended for studio use in portrait and product photography. The set includes the Godox UB-002 umbrella and original packaging.

Advantages

The silver interior produces stronger, more contrasted reflections that enhance subject definition. The black exterior minimizes stray reflections and helps control light direction. At 101 cm diameter the umbrella provides a balance between softening light and maintaining contrast. Its lightweight construction makes it convenient to transport and position in studio setups.

Suitable for

• Portrait photography
• Product and still-life photography
• Studio lighting setups requiring controlled, contrasty reflections
• On-location shoots where a portable reflector is needed

Key specifications

• Type: reflector umbrella (black exterior, silver interior)
• Diameter: 101 cm
• Effect on light: increased reflection and contrast from silver surface; reduced spill from black outer cover
• Weight: lightweight (portable for studio and location use)

How to use

Mount the umbrella on a compatible umbrella holder or light stand with the reflective silver side facing the subject and the black side facing the light source or environment to minimize unwanted reflections. Position your studio flash or continuous light so it illuminates the silver interior evenly. Adjust distance and angle between light, umbrella, and subject to control contrast and softness of the light. Use a diffuser or additional modifiers if softer light is required.

Recommendations

For more contrasted, directional light keep the umbrella closer to the subject and aim the silver surface toward the area you want to emphasize. If softer, more even lighting is desired, increase the distance or combine the umbrella with diffusion material or other modifiers. Regularly check for stray reflections from nearby surfaces and use the black exterior to minimize them.
