Salewa Dames Mountain Trainer Lite GTX Trekkingschoenen

For alpine trekking and demanding hikes, the Salewa Women's Mountain Trainer Lite GTX stands apart with its featherlight build—each boot weighs just 368 g (size UK 5)—while retaining the protective DNA of Salewa's classic Mountain Trainer. The secret lies in the durable fabric upper reinforced with a TPU rand, paired with a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that keeps water out without trapping heat. A climbing lacing system extends to the toe, giving you precise, glove-like adjustment for technical terrain.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort waterproof-breathable membrane
• Pomoca MTN Trainer Lite outsole for reliable grip on rock and mud
• Salewa 3F System locks heel and ankle for stability
• Ortholite® footbed adds cushioning and moisture management
• TPU protective rand shields against scree and abrasion

In daily use

On the trail, the semi-rigid sole balances support and flexibility, while the 11 mm drop (30 mm heel, 19 mm toe) encourages a natural stride. The EVA midsole absorbs impact over long distances, and the climbing lacing lets you fine-tune fit from toe to ankle—ideal for steep ascents or rocky descents. The women's-specific fit follows the natural shape of the foot, reducing pressure points during all-day wear.
