Scarpa Mescalito approacheschoenen - sage/grijs maat: 44

On a sun-baked granite slab high above the valley, every foothold matters. The Scarpa Mescalito keeps you moving with confidence, from the first step off the trailhead to the final scramble to the summit. Built for climbers and mountaineers who cover technical ground fast, this approach shoe pairs a water-resistant suede upper with a sticky Vibram® Megagrip outsole that grips edges and smears with precision. The dual-density EVA midsole cushions hard impacts, while the extended lacing system lets you dial in heel lock and forefoot control. A full rubber rand shields against abrasion when you jam cracks or scrape over sharp rock. The Mescalito is a trusted tool for technical terrain. Its sticky Vibram® Megagrip outsole provides reliable traction on rock, while the full rubber rand protects the shoe from abrasion. The water-resistant suede upper adds durability and light weather protection, making it suitable for variable conditions. With a medium-stiff flex and board lasting, it offers a balance of sensitivity and support for precise footwork.

Ideal use cases

• Technical approaches and scrambling
• Light hiking on rocky trails
• Via ferrata routes
• Big wall approaches and descents
• Everyday wear for climbers and outdoor enthusiasts

Good to know

The Mescalito uses a BNN last, which provides a medium volume fit with a performance-oriented shape. The Ortholite® footbed adds cushioning and breathability, keeping feet comfortable during long days. The shoe is water-resistant, not waterproof, so it will shed light moisture but is not intended for sustained wet conditions. For best fit, consider sizing up if you plan to wear thick socks. The Vibram® Litebase technology reduces outsole weight without compromising durability, making the shoe lighter and more agile.
