Schilderen-op-nummer-set Ravensburger CreArt – sterrenbeeld Boogschutter, model 23741

Ravensburger 23741 is a paint-by-number kit presented as a single-piece colouring pages book for adults. The format measures 240×180×3 mm and contains a pre-printed, numbered canvas with a Sagittarius zodiac motif and a matching set of acrylic paints and a printed reference image to guide colour placement. The kit is designed to support focused, step-by-step colouring and painting, making it suitable for hobby use, relaxation and practise of brushwork and layering techniques. The compact dimensions make the kit easy to store and transport.

Advantages

The kit provides colour-coded, numbered areas and pre-matched acrylic paints, which reduces the need for independent colour mixing while allowing users to practise brush control and shading. The pre-printed reference image and numbered canvas simplify following the design and help achieve consistent results. The included paints offer good coverage and relatively quick drying, enabling progressive layering and refinement of details for a polished final artwork.

Suitable for

• Adults seeking a structured, relaxing creative activity
• Hobby painters practising brush techniques and colour blending
• Creating zodiac-themed home décor or personalised gifts
• Mindful leisure and stress-relief projects that require focused attention

Key specifications

• Format: single-piece pre-printed, numbered canvas in a colouring-pages book format, size 240×180×3 mm
• Theme: Sagittarius zodiac motif
• Included materials: numbered canvas, set of acrylic paints, printed reference image
• Medium: acrylic paints suitable for canvas application
• Result: finished canvas artwork ready for framing or display

How to use

Lay the pre-printed canvas flat on a protected work surface or secure it in a hoop or frame to keep the surface taut. Consult the reference image to match paint numbers to the corresponding areas on the canvas. Use finer brushes for detailed sections and broader brushes for larger colour fields. Paint from background to foreground and from lighter to darker tones where appropriate. Allow each layer to dry before applying further layers to avoid smudging and to achieve cleaner edges and more defined shading.

Recommendations

Work in a well-lit, ventilated area and protect your workspace with disposable covering. Keep a small container of water and paper towels for brush cleaning and paint dilution control. Let the completed painting dry thoroughly before framing; for added protection and longevity, consider applying a clear acrylic varnish suitable for acrylic paintings.
