Schuurgaas Bosch EXPERT M480 125 mm K400, 5-pack

Bosch EXPERT M480 abrasive sanding nets, 125 mm diameter, grit K400, pack of 5. These sanding nets are designed for use with orbital sanders and rotating sanding plates that accept 125 mm nets. The open-net construction reduces clogging and improves dust extraction, allowing consistent fine sanding and surface preparation on wood, painted surfaces and primers.

Advantages

The open net structure ensures faster dust extraction and less clogging compared with conventional abrasive discs. Fine K400 grit provides uniform material removal and smooth surface preparation. Compatible with 125 mm sanding plates and many orbital sanders that use hook-and-loop or plate-mounted nets. Supplied as a pack of 5 for repeated use or multiple jobs.

Suitable for

• Fine sanding of wood and veneers
• Mattifying or smoothing painted surfaces and primers
• Surface preparation before finishing or coating
• Working with orbital sanders and rotating sanding plates that accept 125 mm nets

How to use

Fit the sanding net to a compatible 125 mm orbital sander or sanding plate according to the sander manufacturer's instructions. Apply light, even pressure and move the tool smoothly across the surface. Replace the net when grit is exhausted or clogging reduces effectiveness. Ensure the sander's dust extraction system is connected and functioning to maximise the benefit of the open-net design.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use with a sander that has active dust extraction and select a progression of grits when preparing surfaces (for example, start with a coarser grit if heavy material removal is required, then finish with K400 for fine smoothing).
