This is ensured by the modern image upscaler technology, which optimises any kind of content to 4K. Uncompromising cinema quality at any time at home.

HDR – High Dynamic Range
HDR brings optically even more out for you when watching TV. With extra brightness and contrast as well as a wider range of colours, the image is perfectly suited to the human eye. Bright pictures are clearer and more vivid, reds, greens and blues become more iridescent and the picture gains depth.

Netflix

Simply take out a paid subscription and you can choose from thousands of offers.

Active Motion 400

Prime Video
With Amazon Prime Video you have access to a huge selection of (original) films and TV shows. Watch the series everyone is talking about and the best films, including the latest blockbusters. The paid streaming service simply always brings good entertainment to your screen.

Dolby Vision
The cinema was the inspiration for this innovative technology, which brings images to life again. It uses enhanced brightness, contrast, colour and details for this. The results are ultra-individual images with a vibrancy that makes you forget the difference between films or series and reality.

HEVC/h.265
Future inclusive: with this very latest video codec, you’re ready for the broadcasting standards of tomorrow today. And when the action starts, you’ll be in on the action with your Sharp TV right from the start.

HDMI Inputs
Plug it in, ready, go: with HDMI inputs you can connect all kinds of devices –Blu-ray or DVD players, streaming boxes, digital receivers or game consoles. Now films, music and games are available on your TV.

Dolby Digital/Dolby Digital Plus
Everyone is familiar with the terms, and behind them are audio codes for transmitting sound. Dolby Digital can provide sound with 5 channels and subwoofer. With Dolby Digital Plus, two additional channels refine the sound by adding more detail and creating an impressive surround sound.

HLG
Hybrid Log Gama, or HLG for short, is a must-have for every modern TV. With this standard you can take advantage of optically high-quality HDR content, which broadcasters or streaming providers transmit by satellite, cable or antenna.

How to use

Connect the TV to power and an internet source via Wi‑Fi or Ethernet to access streaming services. Use the Roku home screen to search by title, actor or director and launch apps directly. Connect external devices such as Blu‑ray players, consoles or set‑top boxes via the HDMI inputs; enable eARC on compatible sound systems through HDMI 2.1 if required. Control the TV with the supplied remote, voice assistants or the free Roku app for iOS and Android.

Recommendations

For best picture quality enable HDR and Dolby Vision where available on the source content, use HDMI 2.1 connections for compatible devices, and keep the TV firmware updated via the Roku settings. For improved sound consider a soundbar with eARC support.
