Slaapzak easy camp Raven I Mummy 5°C petrol (model 2025)

The easy camp Raven I Mummy 5°C Petrol (Model 2025) is a mummy-style sleeping bag engineered for mild-weather camping and seasonal outdoor trips. With a 5°C comfort rating, tapered mummy cut and contoured hood, the bag is designed to retain warmth while remaining compact and lightweight for transport. The petrol-coloured outer offers a practical, low-visibility finish suitable for mixed outdoor use, and the construction balances insulation and packability for weekend camping, hiking and similar activities.

Advantages

The mummy shape and contoured hood minimise internal air volume and reduce heat loss around the head and shoulders. The 5°C comfort rating provides a clear reference for use in cool, not extreme, conditions, while the lightweight construction and efficient stuffing allow the bag to compress into a small pack for easier carrying. Materials and stitching are chosen to withstand regular outdoor use and to facilitate simple care and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Weekend camping trips in spring, summer or early autumn
• Backpacking and day-hike overnight stays where low weight and compact size matter
• Car camping and festival use in mild climates
• Seasonal outdoor activities with expected night temperatures around or above 5°C

Key specifications

• Insulation type: synthetic fill designed for moisture resistance and quick drying
• Shape: mummy with tapered lower section and contoured hood for improved thermal efficiency
• Comfort temperature rating: 5°C
• Weight: lightweight construction suitable for short trips (refer to product label for exact weight)
• Packability: compresses to a compact size for transport
• Outer colour: petrol
• Intended seasonality: seasonal/mild conditions

How to use

Open the sleeping bag fully and shake it out before use to ensure the insulation lofts evenly. Insert yourself into the mummy-shaped bag and adjust the contoured hood and any available draft collar or zipper baffle to limit heat loss around the head and torso. When packing, dry the bag thoroughly, compress it into its storage sack or compression straps to minimise volume, and stow it where it will not be crushed for extended periods. Follow any care instructions on the product label for washing and drying to preserve insulation performance.

Recommendations

For optimal comfort, combine the sleeping bag with an insulated sleeping pad to prevent conductive heat loss to the ground, and use a suitable liner or base layer if you require additional warmth. Store the bag uncompressed in a breathable storage sack when not in use to maintain loft and insulation characteristics.
