Softbox Godox SB-FW35160 350 mm x 1600 mm voor zachte lichtverdeling

The Godox SB-FW35160 softbox measures 350 mm wide and 1600 mm high, providing an extended rectangular surface for soft, even light distribution. Its construction uses a metal support ring for stable and uniform fabric tension, a rip-stop nylon outer shell for mechanical durability and light weight, and an interior silver reflective layer. The softbox includes a front diffuser and an internal white diffuser with a high scattering coefficient, and it ships with a honeycomb grid and a carrying case. A Bowens-type mounting ring is fitted for compatibility with lights using the same mount.

Advantages

The elongated rectangular shape offers better control over the light beam and increases contrast while maintaining the characteristic softness of a softbox. Rip-stop nylon increases resistance to tears and abrasions without adding significant weight. The combination of silver reflective interior and dual diffusers delivers uniform light with reduced hotspots, and the included honeycomb grid further shapes and limits spill light.

Suitable for

• Studio portrait and fashion photography
• Product and still-life shoots requiring even, directional light
• Beam shaping for rim, strip, or side lighting in controlled setups

Key specifications

• Outer dimensions: 350 mm × 1600 mm
• Shape: rectangular / strip softbox
• Outer material: rip-stop nylon
• Inner surface: silver reflective layer
• Diffusers: front diffuser and internal high-scatter white diffuser
• Includes: honeycomb grid and carrying case
• Mount type: Bowens-compatible mounting ring

How to use

Assemble the softbox by fitting the metal ring into the softbox frame and securing the Bowens mounting ring to your studio light. Attach the internal diffuser and the front diffuser as required for the desired softness, and mount the honeycomb grid into the front collar when tighter beam control is needed. Position the softbox relative to the subject to shape light direction and contrast; move the unit closer for softer light and farther for a slightly harder effect.

Recommendations

Use the Godox SB-FW35160 with studio strobe heads or continuous lights that accept Bowens mounts. Store in the supplied carrying case when not in use, avoid folding the metal ring to prevent deformation, and clean fabric surfaces with a soft brush or damp cloth. For controlled edge lighting, add the honeycomb; for maximum softness, remove the honeycomb and keep both diffusers in place.
