Stekkerdoos Techly rack 19 inch power strip 1U 8 uitgangen C13

The Techly Rack 19" Power Strip 1U 8 Outlets C13 provides centralized AC power distribution for standard 19-inch equipment racks. Designed to occupy a single rack unit (1U), the power strip supplies eight C13 outlets and operates at 230V AC. Its compact form factor and metal housing in silver and black make it suitable for mounting in server cabinets, network racks and AV installations where space efficiency and organized power routing are required.

Advantages

The unit offers eight C13 AC outlets in a 1U profile, enabling multiple devices to draw power from a single, accessible source. The slim rack-mounted design reduces clutter and conserves rack space compared with multiple individual power cords. A metal enclosure and professional finish support durability and a consistent appearance in technical environments. The device’s specification for 230V AC aligns with common mains supplies in many regions.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted servers and blade systems
• Network switches, routers and patch panels
• Audio/video equipment in studio and broadcast racks
• Small data centers, telecommunications cabinets and edge racks
• Workstation enclosures and lab equipment racks

Key specifications

• Rack form factor: 1U, fits standard 19-inch racks
• Outlet type and quantity: 8 C13 outlets
• Input voltage: 230V AC
• Housing: metal construction with silver and black finish
• Weight: approximately 0.84 kg

How to use

Mount the power strip into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rack screws and spacing to occupy a single rack unit. Connect the strip’s input to a correctly rated mains supply at 230V AC and ensure the circuit provides sufficient current for the combined load of connected devices. Plug equipment into the C13 outlets, distributing high-draw devices across outlets to avoid overloading a single circuit. Route and secure power cords to maintain airflow and reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Verify the total current draw of all connected equipment and compare it with the upstream circuit capacity before prolonged use. Use proper earthing and avoid running multiple high-power devices from a single outlet cluster to reduce overheating risk. For installations requiring surge protection, monitoring or remote switching, consider pairing this rack power strip with dedicated PDU units offering those features.
