The North Face Base Camp Rolling Thunder 28 inch rolreistas - Summit Gold/TNF Black

The Base Camp Rolling Thunder 28" redefines expedition-grade luggage with its rugged 1000D polyester body and TPE laminate, offering unmatched durability for the most demanding travel. Unlike standard wheeled duffels, it combines a self-cleaning wheel system and a perforated chassis to shed dirt and debris, ensuring smooth rolling even on unpaved terrain. The Summit Gold and TNF Black colourway adds a bold, high-visibility look that stands out on any baggage carousel.

Highlights

• 80-litre capacity with internal compression straps to secure gear
• Extendable telescoping handle and self-cleaning wheels for effortless manoeuvrability
• Two zippered external pockets and two internal mesh pockets for organised packing
• Die-cut ID window and Sherpa strap for attaching additional bags
• Plastic bumpers on wear points protect against abrasion

In daily use

From airport terminals to remote basecamps, this wheeled duffel handles it all. The durable plastic chassis and 1680D nylon boot resist scuffs, while the perforated back panel reduces weight without compromising strength. Pack bulky layers in the main compartment, use the mesh pockets for smaller items, and cinch everything down with the compression straps. When you need extra capacity, the Sherpa strap lets you piggyback another bag on top.
