The North Face heren Verto Alpine GORE-TEX approachschoenen - asfaltgrijs/TNF Black - EU 44,5

For technical terrain where precision and protection matter most, the Verto Alpine GORE-TEX approach shoe delivers a climbing-oriented fit with the trusted waterproofing of a GORE-TEX membrane. Unlike conventional approach shoes that compromise on either grip or comfort, this model pairs a Vibram Megagrip outsole with a dual-density EVA midsole and an ESS Snake Plate for confident scrambling, via ferrata, and light mountaineering.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX waterproof/breathable lining keeps feet dry in wet conditions
• Vibram Megagrip rubber outsole for exceptional traction on rock and mixed terrain
• ESS Snake Plate forefoot protection shields against sharp edges without sacrificing flexibility
• Rubber toe cap and heel rand add durability and abrasion resistance
• OrthoLite Hybrid footbed offers long-lasting cushioning and moisture management

In daily use

The precise, climbing-oriented fit wraps the foot securely, reducing slippage on steep approaches and technical scrambles. The dual-density EVA midsole absorbs impact on descents while maintaining enough stiffness for edging. A durable synthetic leather and textile upper resists abrasion from rock and scree, and the lace-up closure allows fine-tuned adjustment for all-day comfort.
