Why choose it

The Assassin X 120 Refined SE delivers a compelling mix of cooling headroom, low noise, and broad platform support. Its four 6mm heatpipes use Advanced Gravity Heat Pipe technology to efficiently move heat from the copper base into the aluminum fin stack, while the S-FDB bearing fan ensures long life and smooth operation. With a 180W TDP rating, it handles everything from efficient quad-cores to unlocked six-core chips without breaking a sweat. The 154mm height fits most mid-tower cases and many compact enclosures, making it a versatile choice for new builds or upgrades.

Ideal use cases

• Gaming PCs with CPUs up to 180W TDP
• Compact and mid-tower builds where height is limited
• Quiet home office or content creation systems
• Upgrading from stock coolers for better acoustics and thermals

Good to know

Installation is straightforward with the included mounting kit for Intel and AMD sockets. The fan uses a standard 4-pin PWM connector, allowing automatic speed control from the motherboard. No RGB lighting keeps the aesthetic clean and focused on performance. Thermalright's reputation for quality and value makes this cooler a smart pick for budget-conscious builders who refuse to compromise on cooling.
