Thermisch richtkijker PULSAR Thermion 2 XP50 PRO — 640×480 sensor, 50 mm objectief

The PULSAR Thermion 2 XP50 PRO is a thermal imaging scope designed for long-range detection and observation. Equipped with a 640×480 thermal sensor and a 50 mm objective lens, this unit produces high-contrast thermal images to identify warm targets in low-light, total darkness, fog, and other adverse conditions. The scope supports practical mounting on suitable optics and is engineered for straightforward field operation, combining a robust housing with image clarity suitable for surveillance, wildlife observation, and precision targeting.

Advantages

The Thermion 2 XP50 PRO delivers a high-resolution 640×480 sensor with reliable thermal sensitivity that enhances target detection at extended distances. The 50 mm objective lens improves detection range and image detail while maintaining a compact form factor for integration with riflescopes and observation optics. The device offers intuitive controls and mounting compatibility, enabling quick deployment and ease of use during prolonged field sessions.

Suitable for

• Long-range surveillance and perimeter observation
• Wildlife monitoring and nocturnal animal detection
• Precision targeting and situational assessment
• Search and rescue in low-visibility conditions

Key specifications

• Thermal sensor resolution: 640 × 480 pixels
• Objective lens focal length: 50 mm
• Thermal imaging for day/night use and low-visibility environments
• High thermal contrast imaging for detecting warm targets
• Designed for mounting on optical platforms and standalone observation

How to use

Mount the scope securely to a compatible platform according to the mounting interface of your optic or dedicated bracket. Power on the unit and allow the sensor to stabilize before use. Use the scope’s controls to adjust image settings, focus, and magnification as needed to obtain a clear thermal image. Scan the area systematically to detect heat signatures, then refine focus and image settings to assess the target. After use, power off the device and store it in a protective case to prevent moisture and impact damage.

Recommendations

For best results, perform periodic calibration and check firmware updates from the manufacturer. When using the Thermion 2 XP50 PRO outdoors, protect the device from prolonged exposure to heavy rain and store batteries in a dry environment. Use appropriate mounting hardware to ensure stable alignment and reduce parallax when used for precision observation or targeting.
