Thermische IP-camera Wisualarm HY-FT431LFP DAHUA

The Wisualarm HY-FT431LFP thermal IP camera from DAHUA provides thermal imaging for perimeter and area surveillance. Designed for outdoor use, the camera captures heat signatures to detect humans, vehicles and other heat-emitting objects in darkness, fog or smoke where visible-light cameras are limited. It supports network connectivity and remote viewing, enabling integration into IP security systems for continuous monitoring and event recording.

Advantages

This thermal IP camera delivers consistent detection capability independent of ambient light, improving situational awareness at night and in adverse weather. Built with a weather-resistant housing, it withstands outdoor conditions and provides durable operation. The device includes motion-detection features and remote access options, allowing automated alerts and convenient monitoring through networked video management systems.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and fence line monitoring
• Remote site surveillance (construction, utilities, storage yards)
• Night-time security for commercial and residential properties
• Detection in fog, smoke or low-visibility environments

Key specifications

• Thermal imaging sensor with high-resolution output for heat signature detection
• IP network connectivity for remote access and integration with VMS
• Weather-resistant outdoor housing designed for continuous external deployment
• Onboard motion detection and event-triggering capabilities
• Compatible with standard IP surveillance protocols for recording and alerts

How to use

Mount the camera at the planned surveillance location ensuring a clear line of sight over the area to be monitored. Connect the device to the network according to the installation guide and configure network settings and credentials through the camera's web interface or compatible video management software. Calibrate detection zones and sensitivity to match the monitored environment, and set up event rules for notification and recording. Regularly inspect the housing and clean the lens area to maintain image quality.

Recommendations

Position the camera to avoid direct obstructions and reflective heat sources that may interfere with thermal readings. Use scheduled maintenance checks to verify firmware updates, network connectivity and event log integrity for reliable long-term operation.
