Thermo-fietsjack POC Mantle Thermal uran zwart — geïsoleerd thermo-fietsjack, model 342023

POC Mantle Thermal uran black is an insulated thermal cycling jacket designed for cold-weather riding. The jacket combines a wind-resistant outer layer with internal insulation to provide reliable warmth and protection during training, commuting and longer rides in cool conditions. Its cut and construction allow layering underneath while maintaining freedom of movement for pedaling and bike handling.

Advantages

The jacket delivers targeted thermal protection that helps retain body heat without excessive bulk. A windproof exterior reduces chill from headwinds, while breathable fabric management limits overheating during higher-intensity efforts. The design emphasizes practical details for cyclists, including a streamlined fit that sits comfortably under road and commuter helmets and compatibility with base layers and mid layers for flexible layering strategies.

Suitable for

• Cold-weather road cycling and training
• Commuting in cool, windy conditions
• Layering with base layers and softshells on variable rides
• Endurance rides where thermal regulation and wind protection are required

Key specifications

• Insulated construction for thermal retention
• Wind-resistant outer fabric to reduce heat loss from wind chill
• Ergonomic cycling cut for unrestricted pedaling motion
• Layer-friendly fit to accommodate base and mid layers
• Full-length front closure for ventilation control
• Reflective details for low-light visibility

How to use

Select the jacket size based on your usual cycling-fit measurements to preserve the designed aerodynamic and layering characteristics. Wear a lightweight moisture-wicking base layer beneath the jacket to manage sweat and preserve insulation performance. Use the full-length front closure to adjust ventilation during climbs or descents; open partially for increased airflow during high-intensity efforts and close fully into headwinds or when temperatures drop.

Recommendations

For best results in cold-weather riding, combine the jacket with a breathable base layer and, if needed, a thin midlayer. Machine wash according to care instructions on the garment label, avoid fabric softeners to maintain breathability and wind resistance, and store in a dry place. Use reflective accessories for additional visibility in low-light conditions.
