Tijdschriften-/boekomslag Herlitz 5205018 geel

The Herlitz 5205018 Yellow magazine/book cover is a protective sleeve designed to shield magazines, books and similar documents from dirt, moisture and mechanical wear. Made of durable polypropylene (PP), the cover provides a flexible yet sturdy layer that preserves edges and surfaces during storage and transport. Its bright yellow colour makes it easy to identify and adds visibility to shelves and folders. The package contains one cover suitable for a single magazine or book.

Advantages

The polypropylene construction offers resistance to tearing and creasing while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. The cover's smooth finish repels dust and allows for quick cleaning with a soft cloth. Its flexible fit accommodates a variety of thicknesses and keeps printed covers and pages protected from fingerprints and spills. The vivid yellow tone improves item visibility in shared storage or classroom environments.

Suitable for

• Covering paperback books and school textbooks
• Keeping catalogs, brochures and manuals clean
• Temporary protection during transport or storage

Key specifications

• Material: polypropylene (PP)
• Colour: yellow
• Pack quantity: 1 cover
• Flexible, tear-resistant construction
• Smooth, easy-to-clean surface

How to use

Slide the book or magazine gently into the cover so that the spine aligns with the fold and the front and back faces are fully enclosed. Adjust the fit by smoothing the material along the edges to remove air pockets and ensure full contact. For thicker publications, fold the open edge slightly or tuck excess material to achieve a snug fit. Clean the cover with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary; allow to dry completely before reusing.

Recommendations

Store covered items flat or upright in dry conditions to avoid prolonged exposure to heat or sunlight, which can affect the colour and flexibility of polypropylene over time. Avoid contact with solvents or abrasive cleaners. Regularly inspect the cover for signs of wear and replace when protective performance decreases.
