Toetsenbordschakelaar-dempers Glorious PC Gaming Race O-Ring, silicone 1,5 mm, doorschijnend

Glorious PC Gaming Race O-Ring switch dampeners are 1.5 mm silicone rings in a translucent finish designed to be placed under keycaps on mechanical keyboards. They reduce the loud bottom-out noise of mechanical switches and soften the impact when a key is is fully pressed, improving typing comfort while remaining compatible with LED backlighting and RGB effects.

Advantages

These silicone O-rings decrease the audible click and clack produced when mechanical switches bottom out, provide a slightly cushioned feel that reduces finger fatigue, and are thin enough (1.5 mm) to maintain normal key travel. Their translucent material does not obstruct keyboard backlighting and they are supplied in a pack suitable for multiple keys.

Suitable for

• Mechanical keyboard users who want quieter typing
• Gamers who voice chat while playing
• Content creators recording voice or screen while typing
• Typists seeking a softer bottom-out feel

How to use

Remove the keycap from the mechanical switch, place a single O-ring around the switch stem so it sits between the switch and the keycap stem, and then reattach the keycap. Ensure the ring is seated evenly to avoid tilting. Repeat for any additional keys you wish to dampen. No tools are required, though a keycap puller can speed up the process.

Recommendations

Use the 1.5 mm O-rings on keys that produce the most noise (such as alphanumeric keys and spacebar) and avoid stacking multiple rings on a single stem to prevent excessive change in travel or actuation feel. Test a small number of keys first to confirm the desired balance between sound reduction and key responsiveness.
