Viking Kettera Pro trekking poles are adjustable Nordic walking poles supplied as a pair and designed for walking, hiking and fitness. The UNI adjustable length system allows users to set a comfortable pole height for varied terrains and body sizes. Ergonomic grips support a natural hand position while durable carbide or rubber tips provide traction on trails, pavement and mixed surfaces. These poles are intended to improve posture, balance and load distribution during outdoor walks and longer hikes.

Advantages

The adjustable length mechanism offers quick and secure adjustment to match slope changes or user height. Ergonomic handles reduce hand fatigue and promote correct wrist alignment. Lightweight construction combined with robust tip materials ensures a balance of portability and durability. Supplied as a pair, the poles provide consistent support on uneven ground and help maintain walking rhythm without added bulk.

How to use

Set each pole to the appropriate length using the UNI adjustment system so that your elbow is slightly bent when the pole is in contact with the ground. Hold the ergonomic grip with a relaxed hand and use the natural swing of your arms to push off with the poles, synchronizing pole placement with opposite foot movement. On steep ascents shorten the poles slightly for better leverage; on descents extend them for increased stability. Replace or switch tips depending on surface conditions to maintain traction.

Recommendations

For best results, inspect tips and locking mechanisms before each use and tighten adjustments if any play is detected. Use rubber cap covers on hard surfaces to extend tip life and choose carbide or specialized trail tips for rough terrain. Store poles dry and collapsed to preserve the adjustable system.
