Tweepersoons luchtmatras Outwell 400146 — 1350×2030×100 mm, polyester, groen/grijs

The Outwell Sleepnest mat is a double air mattress designed for couples and families who want improved comfort when camping or travelling. It features deluxe zoned support with integrated cut-outs that provide ergonomic alignment while reducing overall weight and packed size. The durable TPU construction combined with stretch polyester creates a soft and stable sleeping surface, while the 3D shape and deep profile increase comfort. Extra-large foam cavities and PFAS-free materials contribute to convenience, insulation and more sustainable use.

Advantages

The Sleepnest delivers a supportive, cushioned surface across the whole mattress thanks to its zoned construction and large foam cavities. Its TPU and stretch polyester build balances softness and stability, and the 3D contoured profile improves body support during sleep. The integrated cut-outs reduce bulk for easier packing, and PFAS-free materials reduce the use of harmful chemicals.

Suitable for

• Couples camping in tents or caravans
• Families needing a comfortable double sleeping surface outdoors
• Overnight trips where a compact, lighter double mattress is preferred

When it may not be suitable

The Sleepnest is designed as a soft, insulated double air mattress; it may not meet the needs of users who require a very firm sleeping surface or a specialised medical mattress. Its 100 mm height provides moderate insulation and comfort but is not intended as a high-performance expedition mat for extreme cold.

For packing, fully deflate, fold or roll according to the manufacturer’s guidance and store in the carry bag to protect the TPU and polyester surfaces.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended use environment (camping, caravan, glamping) and required insulation level
• Preference for mattress firmness and whether a 100 mm height meets comfort needs
• Compatibility with available pumps and the packed size for transport and storage

Recommendations

Use a groundsheet or footprint beneath the mattress to protect the base from abrasion and sharp objects. Check inflation levels periodically during the night and avoid overinflation to maintain the TPU seams and comfort profile.
