Universele slotgatadapter Compulocks Blade — Zilver, 174×41×8 mm

The Compulocks Blade Universal Lock Slot Adapter in silver is a slim adhesive bracket that creates a retractable locking slot on laptops, Ultrabooks, tablets and netbooks. It adds a secure anchor point for cable locks while raising the device slightly to improve airflow and ergonomics. The adapter is designed for devices without a built-in Kensington-style slot and is compatible with a wide range of models, including recent iPad Pro generations when a slot is required.

Advantages

The Blade adapter installs using industrial adhesive to attach firmly to most device housings and presents a low-profile, recessed retractable blade that accepts standard lock heads. Its minimalist silver finish integrates discreetly with device designs while providing a durable connection able to withstand significant force. The slim raised profile improves ventilation under the device and offers a subtle ergonomic lift for typing and viewing.

Suitable for

• Laptops and Ultrabooks without an integrated lock slot
• Tablets and large-format tablets such as iPad Pro models
• Netbooks and compact notebooks used in public or shared environments

How to use

Clean the device surface thoroughly and allow it to dry before applying the Blade adapter. Peel the adhesive backing and press the adapter onto the chosen flat area of the device housing, holding firm pressure for the time recommended by the adhesive manufacturer. After the adhesive cures, extend the retractable blade and insert the head of a compatible cable lock into the slot, then secure the lock according to its instructions.

Recommendations

Apply to a solid, flat area of the device chassis and avoid attaching to rubberized surfaces, cases or removable panels. Allow full adhesive cure time before relying on the lock for security. Use with a compatible lock and cable rated for your security needs and reposition or replace the adapter if device repairs or case changes are required.
