USB-C-hub Lenovo ThinkPad Universal 40B20135DE, 7 aansluitingen, Power Delivery

Lenovo ThinkPad Universal 40B20135DE is a compact USB-C hub that expands connectivity for USB-C laptops and tablets. With seven ports and Power Delivery support, this accessory allows simultaneous connection of external displays, storage devices, wired peripherals and network interfaces while maintaining passthrough charging from a single USB-C connection. The design targets office, remote and mobile workflows that require more I/O options without carrying multiple adapters.

Advantages

The hub combines multiple interfaces in one lightweight device, reducing cable clutter and enabling a single-cable workstation setup. Power Delivery passthrough lets you charge the host device while using connected accessories, and the range of ports covers common peripheral needs for displays, external drives and wired networking. The plug-and-play operation requires no additional drivers for most modern operating systems, making it suitable for quick setup and frequent travel.

Suitable for

• Expanding ports on USB-C laptops and tablets for office work
• Remote work and video conferencing setups with external displays and cameras
• Connecting external SSDs, HDDs or USB flash drives for data transfer
• Setting up a compact travel workstation that needs charging and wired peripherals

Key specifications

• Interface: USB-C host connection
• Number of ports: 7 (combination of video, USB-A, network and power passthrough — see product labeling for exact port types)
• Power Delivery: passthrough charging support to power the host device while peripherals are connected
• Video output: support for external displays via compatible video ports (adapter dependent)
• Data transfer: high-speed USB ports for external storage and peripherals
• Form factor: compact and portable hub suitable for laptop bags

How to use

Connect the hub to a USB-C port on your laptop or tablet using the integrated or supplied cable. Attach external devices — such as monitors, USB drives, keyboard, mouse or Ethernet — to the corresponding ports on the hub. If you need to charge the host while using peripherals, connect a USB-C Power Delivery charger to the hub's PD input. The host device should recognize most connected devices automatically; check display settings to configure external monitors and use your operating system's network settings for wired connections.

Recommendations

Use a compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger with sufficient wattage to ensure both host charging and operation of connected devices. For sustained high-bandwidth tasks (large file transfers or multiple high-resolution displays), use appropriate cables and confirm host device support for the required video and data modes.
