USB-C-hub Lenovo ThinkPad Universal 40B20135SA – 7 aansluitingen met Power Delivery

Lenovo ThinkPad Universal 40B20135SA is a compact USB-C hub that expands a single USB-C port into seven practical ports with integrated Power Delivery pass-through. Designed for laptops and devices with a USB-C or Thunderbolt port, the hub adds connectivity for peripherals, external displays and wired networking while allowing the host device to receive power through the same connection. Its compact form suits mobile workstations, office desks and business travel when additional ports and in-use charging are required.

Advantages

The hub provides a combination of multiple connection types in a single accessory, reducing the need for separate adapters. Power Delivery pass-through enables simultaneous charging of the connected laptop while using peripherals. The device supports direct connection of displays, wired Ethernet and USB accessories, simplifying cable management and expanding productivity options without changing the host device. Its design focuses on compatibility with modern USB-C standards and ThinkPad systems.

Suitable for

• Mobile professionals who need extra ports while travelling
• Office workstations requiring external monitors and wired networking
• Students and home office users connecting peripherals like keyboard, mouse and external storage
• Presentations where a laptop must connect to projectors or external displays

Key specifications

• Interface: USB-C host connection with Power Delivery pass-through
• Number of ports: seven-port configuration combining video, data and power passthrough
• Video output: support for external displays via compatible video ports (dependent on host capabilities)
• Network: wired Ethernet port for stable LAN connection
• Data transfer: multiple USB ports for peripherals and external storage
• Power: supports Power Delivery charging to the host through the hub
• Form factor: compact, lightweight design for portability

How to use

Connect the hub to the laptop’s USB-C port and, if required, connect a USB-C power adapter to the hub’s power input to enable Power Delivery charging. Attach desired peripherals such as external monitors, Ethernet cable, USB drives or input devices to the corresponding ports. Ensure the laptop’s USB-C port supports the required alternate modes (video output or power delivery) if you plan to use display or charging functions. The hub generally requires no additional drivers for most modern operating systems; check system settings for display or network configuration after connection.

Recommendations

Use a compatible USB-C power adapter rated for the laptop’s power requirement to ensure stable charging while multiple peripherals are in use. For best video performance, confirm the host device supports the necessary video output mode and resolution. Avoid overloading the hub by connecting high-power-draw devices simultaneously without adequate power delivery.
