Ventilator ARCTIC S8038-7K 80 mm 118,93 m³/h dubbel kogellager zwart

Designed for Continuous Operation

The impeller of the S8038-7K is held in place by two ball bearings, making it not only particularly durable but also less sensitive to external influences such as heat and dust.

Full Control with a Wide Speed Range

The S8038-7K has a wide speed range that can be regulated via PWM and voltage, allowing it to be tuned to the specific system requirement. With a wide speed range from 500 rpm to 7000 rpm, it provides an ideal balance between cooling performance and noise, ensuring optimal performance in various scenarios.

High Airflow and Static Pressure

Heat sinks and radiators benefit from fans with high static pressure. The S8038-7K has a static pressure of 25 mm/H2O, which enables it to push air, even through narrow cooling fins. At the same time, it achieves a maximum airflow of 118.93 m³/h allowing it to quickly dissipate heat from enclosures. These properties make it the ideal choice for a wide range of applications.

Flexible Connection Options

With its standard 4-pin fan connector, the S8038-7K can also be connected to 2-pin or 3-pin sockets, and then be controlled by voltage. The 30 cm cable allows a lot of flexibility in positioning.

Active Cooling for Extended Motor Lifespan

The lifespan of fans is mostly determined by the lifespan of the motor, which is significantly dependent on the motor temperature, especially in long-term operation. The motor of the S8038-7K is actively cooled by an additional impeller in the fan hub. By maintaining lower motor temperatures, its lifespan is extended by up to 50 %. This advance not only leads to improved operating efficiency, but also to significant cost savings in the long run.

Wide Range of Applications

The S8038-7K fits into 2U server cases and serves as an upgrade or replacement for a CPU fan, radiator fan or for system ventilation. In addition to server cooling, it is also used in industrial systems and plays an important role in machine control and automation systems. Reliable and robust, it guarantees performance in various hardware environments and ensures efficient cooling and minimal downtime.

How to use

Install the fan in the intended mounting position in your server chassis or equipment, aligning screw holes and securing with appropriate screws. Connect the fan to the system power header or fan controller according to the device's wiring specifications. Ensure airflow direction matches your cooling layout and verify fan operation before closing the enclosure.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, maintain regular cleaning to prevent dust buildup and confirm compatible voltage and connector type with your system. Use the ARCTIC S8038-7K in environments within the manufacturer's specified temperature and humidity ranges and replace the fan if excessive noise or reduced airflow appears.
