VGA-kabel ShiverPeaks SP-PROFESSIONAL 15 m

The ShiverPeaks SP-PROFESSIONAL 15m VGA Cable provides a long-range analog video connection with two standard VGA (D-Sub) connectors. Designed for professional environments, the cable combines a 15-meter length with shielding and durable construction to maintain stable video transmission for projectors, monitors and desktop computers. The cable features a blue and chrome finish and is intended for installations where extended reach and consistent image quality are required.

Advantages

The cable's extended 15 m length allows flexible placement of display devices without the need for signal extenders. Its robust connectors and reinforced jacket reduce the risk of mechanical wear and accidental disconnection during repeated use. Shielding and quality conductor materials help minimise interference and preserve analogue video fidelity over the full run.

Suitable for

• Connecting projectors to laptops or desktop PCs in lecture halls and meeting rooms
• Linking monitors to computers where a long cable run is needed
• Temporary AV setups for presentations, events and training sessions

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 metres
• Connector type: VGA (D-Sub) male to male
• Signal type: Analog video (VGA)
• Jacket colour and finish: Blue with chrome connector shell
• Construction: Shielded cable with reinforced ends for durability

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting. Align the 15-pin D-Sub connectors with the VGA ports on the source and display devices, insert the connectors and tighten the thumbscrews to secure the connection. Power on the devices and configure the display settings on the source device as required (resolution and refresh rate) to match the monitor or projector capabilities. For optimal image quality, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For consistent analogue video performance over 15 m, use the cable for resolutions appropriate to VGA signals and avoid unnecessarily high refresh rates. When routing the cable through ceilings or walls, protect it from sharp edges and secure strain relief at both ends to extend service life.
