Video-deurintercomset Hikvision DS-KIS102-P/Surface — 2-draads opbouwsysteem

Hikvision DS-KIS102-P/Surface is a 2-wire surface-mounted video intercom kit that provides audio and video communication between an outdoor door station and an indoor monitor. The system uses a simplified two-wire connection for power and signal transmission, reducing installation complexity and making it suitable for retrofit installations or locations where concealed wiring is impractical. The kit supports visitor identification, remote door release via an electric lock interface, and basic access management for residential and small commercial entrances.

Advantages

The 2-wire architecture minimizes cabling needs and speeds up installation while maintaining stable audio and video transmission. Surface mounting enables installation on existing walls without major modifications. The solution combines a weather-resistant outdoor station with a clear indoor monitor interface, allowing occupants to see and speak with visitors before granting access. Designed for straightforward operation, the kit integrates with standard electric door release mechanisms for convenient entry control.

Suitable for

• Single-family homes and apartments with surface-mounted installations
• Small offices and retail premises requiring simple access control
• Retrofit projects where concealed wiring is not possible
• Entrances where a compact, easy-to-install video intercom is needed

Key specifications

• Connection type: simplified two-wire power and signal transmission
• Mounting: surface-mounted outdoor station and indoor monitor
• Functions: audio communication, video monitoring, remote door release support
• Suitable environments: residential and small commercial entrance points
• Compatibility: integrates with standard electric locks and basic access control setups

How to use

Install the outdoor station on a flat exterior surface and mount the indoor monitor in a convenient interior location within reach of the two-wire connection. Connect the two-wire cable following the manufacturer's wiring scheme for power and signal. Configure the monitor settings for video brightness and audio levels as needed. When a visitor presses the call button at the outdoor station, the indoor monitor rings and displays live video; occupants can speak with the visitor and operate the door release control to grant entry.

Recommendations

Use a quality two-core cable appropriate for outdoor-to-indoor runs and avoid routing near high-voltage lines to reduce interference. For reliable operation, mount the outdoor station at a height that provides a clear field of view and protects against direct rain where possible. Verify electric lock compatibility and ensure the power supply meets the kit's requirements before connection.
